Claire Bissell is a RIBA chartered Architect who is passionate about protecting our planet. Her architectural designs seek to protect our natural resources whilst creating beautiful spaces that are joyful to inhabit. Claire believes that one of the key ways to achieve this is through the reuse and adaptation of existing buildings and materials, and the design of new buildings that respond to and enhance their surroundings. Claire enjoys the challenges that rural and older buildings bring, as well as developing innovative solutions for small spaces and difficult sites.

Claire studied architecture at The University of The West of England and at the Mackintosh School of Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art. Claire has previously worked for White Design and ModCell in Bristol, before a move to Cornwall and working for Place Architects in Launceston.
